DogPlay is proud to be a FetchFind Approved business! All of our staff are trained via FetchFind Premium, the premier educational resource for pet industry professionals. This means every DogPlay Handler receives professional-level pet care education and continues to take classes throughout their career with us. This science-based and animal-centered curriculum has been developed by certified experts with decades of experience in the field.
In addition, Handlers work to receive their canine first aid certification during their career here at DogPlay. This covers everything from basics on canine health and vitality to emergency procedures and urgent care. Most Handlers are able to earn this certification within their first three months at DogPlay.
We also regularly audit our own in-house footage to ensure we are continuing to provide the best care possible.

How do I get a job at DogPlay?
Click the big button at the top of this page! Please do not apply in person or over the phone. Questions that are not answered on our website can be directed to info@dogplay.ca.
What experience or skills do I need to be a DogPlay Handler?
Above all else you need a strong work ethic, ability to work well with others, and a willingness to learn. Experience with dogs is great, but not required. Credentials like Canine First Aid are always a plus! Check out our Careers Page for more info.
Can I volunteer at DogPlay?
Yes! We have a very robust volunteer program. Our volunteers help out between 5pm-7pm on weekdays and occasionally on weekends. Many of our volunteers go on to be successful Handlers at DogPlay! If you have no dog handling experience but are interested in joining our team this is a great place to start.
