A Modern Approach to Learning

• Courses for all life stages
• Held at our fully equipped facility
Dog training can be one of the most rewarding experiences you have with your dog. It can also be frustrating and difficult to master without the proper help. We are here to set you and your dog on the path to being an incredible team! Whether it be through one of our group classes or through 1-on-1 training, our goal is to help you understand how to work with your dog to achieve the results you’re after.
We are firm supporters of science-based training methods that are both effective and non-aversive. We do not use or condone correction based training or aversive training tools.
Our focus is on helping you to teach your dog what it is you want them to do and then making that the most rewarding option for your dog, every time!

FAQ
What are the requirements for my dog to attend a class or private session?
Your dog should be up to date on vaccinations for rabies, DHPP (Distemper/Parvo), and Bordetella. If over 8 months of age your dog should be spayed or neutered (some exceptions can be made).
What do I need to bring with me for private training or training classes?
Please bring your dog’s favourite treats, and preferably a pouch to put them in (we do not recommend Ziploc bags as the dog learns to listen only to the noise!). Your dog should also be wearing their collar/harness and a 4 or 6ft flat leash. If you currently use a clicker you are welcome to bring that too!
What training methods do you use?
We use only force free, science based methods. We do not use any intimidation or fear in our training.
What training equipment do you recommend?
We use treats, toys, clickers, flat collars, harnesses and head collars. Depending on the required training, we may also use platforms, props and FitPAWS equipment. We do not use e-collars, prong collars or any equipment designed to cause discomfort to the dog.
